Layered Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 head iceberg lettuce, torn into bite size pieces
1/2 c celery, diced
1/2 c green bell pepper, diced
1 c red bell pepper, diced
1 red onion, chopped
1 pkg frozen peas (thawed not cooked)
2 c real mayonnaise
2 T sugar
4 oz cheddar cheese, grated
8 slices bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
Preparation

Put lettuce in bottom of bowl or 13 x 9 x 2 glass pan.
Add in layers, celery, peppers, onions, and peas.
Mix mayonnaise with sugar
and spoon over top sealing the edges with mayo mixture. Sprinkle with grated cheese and bacon.
Refrigerate overnight before serving.
