Chop Suey - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 pork chops, half frozen, sliced as thin as possible (1/2 x 1 1/4-inch)
2 Tbsp. shortening
2 tsp. soy sauce
1 bunch celery
2/3 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
2/3 lb. fresh bean sprouts
1 large onion
Preparation

Heat shortening.
Cook meat for 2 minutes on high heat, stirring.
Add soy sauce, celery (all the leaves chopped from the top) and 4 or 5 outside stalks, sliced; mushrooms, bean sprouts and onion sliced crosswise 3 times then finely sliced up and down. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Cook 3 to 5 minutes with lid on, stirring often.
