Savory Amish Meat Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef, plus 1/2 lb. ground pork or 2 lb. ground beef (omit the pork)
    1/4 c. minced onion
    1 c. oatmeal or crushed crackers
    2 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 beaten egg
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. prepared mustard
    1/4 c. ketchup
    1 c. tomato juice
    bacon slices
Preparation
    Mix together the ingredients; form the mixture into a loaf. Put a few bacon slices on top and pour additional tomato sauce over all.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 to 375\u00b0 for 1 hour or until done.
