Texas Hash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 small onions
    1 large bell pepper
    3 tsp. cooking oil
    1 lb. ground beef
    2 c. canned tomatoes
    1/2 c. washed, uncooked rice
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    1 tsp. chili powder
Preparation
    Cook onion and pepper in oil until onions are yellow.
    Add ground beef and fry until mix falls apart.
    Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Pour into greased 2-quart baking dish.
    Cover and bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
    Remove cover last 15 minutes of baking time.
