Lickety Split Cupcakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. cake mix (white)
    2 c. sour cream
    1 jar strawberry preserves
Preparation
    Prepare cake mix according to package.
    Add sour cream.
    Stir by hand until well blended.
    Fill lined muffin tins 1/2 full, reserving 1 1/2 cups batter.
    Make indentation in center of each cup with spoon and fill with preserves.
    Spoon reserved batter over preserves, filling to 3/4 full.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 30 minutes. Cool completely and store in fridge.
