Waffles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. sugar
    4 eggs
    2 c. milk
    2/3 c. melted shortening
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients and set aside.
    Beat 4 egg white and set aside.
    Beat the egg yolks in large mixing bowl.
    Add milk and beat well.
    Add sifted dry ingredients and beat until well blended.
    Add melted shortening and mix well.
    Fold in egg whites. Cook in waffle iron.
