Beer Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. biscuit mix
    1 c. sugar
    beer (at room temperature)
    butter flavor shortening, melted
Preparation
    Mix biscuit mix and sugar until blended.
    Add about 1/2 cup beer and add more as needed.
    Makes a wet tacky dough.
    Spoon dough onto a floured surface.
    Dust with flour.
    Pat out to a thickness of 1/2-inch.
    Cut out biscuits.
    Cover bottom of pan with shortening.
    Bake 10 to 12 minutes at 375\u00b0.
