Pepper Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 large sweet red bell peppers
    1 Tbsp. salt
    2 c. vinegar
    3 c. sugar
Preparation
    Wash peppers; remove stems and seeds.
    Grind peppers; add salt.
    Mix and let stand 3 hours; drain.
    Add vinegar and sugar; simmer slowly until the consistency of jam, about an hour.
    Pour in small jars and seal.
