Rice-Raisin Hot Cereal - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. water
    1 c. white rice
    2 Tbsp. margarine or butter
    3/4 c. raisins
    1 to 2 c. milk
    sugar
    cinnamon
    salt
Preparation
    Bring water to full boil with dash of salt.
    Add white rice (Mahatma brand is good) and margarine or butter.
    Immediately turn temperature down to simmer.
    Cook rice for 20 minutes.
    Add raisins and as much milk (1 to 2 cups maximum) as you like, plus approximately 1 tablespoon sugar and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon.
    Heat just until hot, not boiling again.
    Serve immediately.
