Sopaipillas - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    2 Tbsp. lard
    1 egg
    water
    hot fat
Preparation
    In a large bowl, sift together flour, salt and baking powder. Using a pastry blender or 2 knives, cut in lard until mixture resembles crumbs.
    Add egg and just enough water to make a stiff dough.
