7-Up Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 oz. bottle 7-Up
    6 oz. cream cheese
    3 oz. pkg. lime jello
    16 oz. can crushed pineapple (undrained)
    3/4 c. chopped walnuts
    2 c. Cool Whip
    1/4 lb. marshmallows
Preparation
    Set cream cheese out until room temperature.
    Cook the marshmallows and 7-Up over medium heat until melted; add the lime jello.
    Add this mixture slowly to the room temperature cream cheese and beat until smooth.
    Add the pineapple and nuts.
    Chill until partially set.
    Fold in the Cool Whip and beat thoroughly. Pour into mold or serving bowl and chill.
