1 lb. lean ground beef
1 large onion, grated
1 large egg
1/2 c. water
salt and pepper to taste
16 oz. tomato puree
1 lemon, sliced
juice of 1 lemon
1/2 c. raisins
1 c. brown sugar

Preparation

In water to cover, boil cabbage to limp stage; cool and separate leaves.
