Microwave Candy Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. light Karo syrup
    1 c. peanut butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. Spanish peanuts
    6 c. Rice Chex or Corn Chex
Preparation
    Mix sugar and syrup in a large bowl suitable for the microwave oven.
    Microwave on High for 1/2 minute after mixture comes to a rolling boil. Remove from oven.
    Add peanut butter and vanilla. Stir well. Add Rice Chex and peanuts.
    Put into a buttered pan, 9 x 13-inch.
    Cut in squares when cool.
