Ingredients

9 c. figs
5 c. sugar
6 (3 oz.) pkg. sugar-free jello
Preparation

After removing the stem from figs, cut figs into small pieces. May use an electric beater for a finer texture.
Add jello and sugar to the figs.
Cook slowly over low fire while stirring constantly.
Once it reaches boiling point, continue to cook for 3 or 4 minutes.
Mixture should be poured into hot jars.
If not place in refrigerator after cooling, seal with paraffin and store on shelf.
