Microwave Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. white corn syrup
    1 c. roasted peanuts
    1 tsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    In a 1 1/2-quart casserole, combine sugar and corn syrup; cook on High for 4 minutes.
    Stir in peanuts; cook on High for 4 minutes.
    Stir in vanilla and butter; cook on High 1 minute.
    Stir in baking soda.
    Continue stirring until foamy and light in color. Pour quickly onto lightly buttered cookie sheet; let cool completely.
    Break into pieces.
    Store in airtight container.
