Yum Yum Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. thick commercial sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Cream butter until soft.
Add sugar and cream until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Sift flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt together.
Add dry ingredients alternately with the sour cream, beginning and ending with the flour mixture.
Stir in the vanilla.
