Sand Tarts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    powdered sugar
    2 c. plain flour
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. pecans, chopped
Preparation
    Cream butter and 5 tablespoons sugar; work flour, vanilla and nuts into creamed mixture.
    Form into desired shape.
    Cook on ungreased baking sheet at 325\u00b0 to 355\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
    Roll in powdered sugar.
    Yields 5 to 6 dozen.
