Shipwreck - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium onions, sliced
    2 medium potatoes, sliced
    1 lb. lean ground beef (not browned)
    1/2 c. raw rice
    1 c. celery, sliced
    1 c. carrots, sliced
    1 can mushroom soup
    1 can water
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    In oblong casserole dish, layer first 6 ingredients in order given.
    Dilute mushroom soup with water and pour evenly over casserole.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
    Cover with foil; bake at 300\u00b0 for 3 hours.
