Brandied Applesauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 tart green apples
    2 c. water
    1 c. powdered sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. fruit flavored brandy (any fruit flavor of your choice)
Preparation
    Peel, core and quarter the apples.
    Place in water and cook over low heat until apples soften.
    Stir occasionally, take from fire, add powdered sugar, cinnamon and brandy.
    Simmer 5 minutes. Serve hot or cold.
    Excellent with pork chops, chicken or potato pancakes.
