Carrot Pickle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large bunch carrots
    1 c. tomato soup
    1/2 c. vinegar
    3/4 c. sugar (or sweeten to taste)
    1/2 c. onions, sliced
    1/2 c. green peppers, sliced
Preparation
    Pare and cut carrots.
    Cook until firm (not soft).
    While carrots are cooking, in another saucepan add tomato soup, vinegar and sugar over medium heat unti thick.
    Drain carrots while still hot.
    Put in dish with onion and green pepper slices.
    Pour sauce over carrots.
    Let stand overnight in refrigerator.
