Honey-Glazed Carrots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. diagonally sliced carrots
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    1/2 tsp. ground ginger
    1/2 tsp. grated orange peel
    2 Tbsp. fresh orange juice
    2 Tbsp. honey
Preparation
    Heat 1-inch salted water (1/2 teaspoon salt to 1 cup water) to boiling.
    Add carrots.
    Cover and heat to boiling; reduce heat. Boil until tender, 12 to 15 minutes; drain.
    Melt butter in saucepan.
    Add garlic powder, ginger, orange peel, honey and orange juice.
    Cook and stir over low heat 1 minute; remove from heat.
    Add carrots to butter mixture. Toss gently to coat well. Makes 8 servings.
