Pasta Primavera - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. broccoli, cut in bite size pieces
    1 c. asparagus, cut in bite size pieces
    1 c. snap peas
    1 small summer squash, cubed
    3 garlic cloves, minced
    1 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 c. diced tomatoes
    1/3 c. fresh basil
    black pepper to taste
    1/4 lb. pasta
    1/4 c. Parmesan cheese, grated
Preparation
    Lightly steam vegetables (about 5 minutes for broccoli and asparagus, 1 minute for peas and squash).
    Saute garlic in oil, carefully to not burn.
    Add steamed vegetables and stir-fry briefly to blend flavors (vegetables should remain somewhat crisp).
    Add tomatoes, parsley, basil and black pepper; heat through.
