Lizzies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 stick oleo
1 1/2 c. dark brown sugar
4 eggs
3 Tbsp. milk
3 c. flour
1/2 c. flour (extra to sprinkle over fruit)
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
3 tsp. soda
1 c. whiskey
6 c. chopped pecans
1 lb. red cherries (candied)
1 lb. green pineapple (candied)
1 lb. dark seeded raisins
1 lb. light seeded raisins
Preparation

Cream oleo and sugar. Beat in eggs, one at a time.
Mix the 3 cups of
flour
with
soda and spices. Sprinkle flour on mixed fruit. Add flour
mixture to first mixture with milk and whiskey. Add fruit mixture.\tDrop on greased cookie sheet and bake at 275\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
