Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 tsp. salt
3 c. milk
3 egg yolks
1 Tbsp. butter
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix in saucepan the sugar, cornstarch, cocoa and salt.
Stir in milk and egg yolks (slightly beaten).
Boil until thick, stirring constantly.
Add butter and vanilla.
Pour in baked pie shell.
