Elegantly Scalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium potatoes
    2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1/2 c. butter
    1 1/2 c. sour cream
    1/3 c. chopped onion
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Boil potatoes with skins.
    Cool, peel and cut into cubes.
    In saucepan over low heat, combine butter and cheese.
    Stir until almost melted.
    Remove from heat; add remaining ingredients.
    Fold into potatoes; put into a 2-quart casserole.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 25 minutes with glass or foil cover.
    Stir before serving hot.
