Goulash - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
1 large bell pepper, chopped
1 large onion, chopped
2-14 1/2 oz. cans tomato sauce
5 oz. jar mushrooms, drained
8 oz. can sliced water chestnuts, drained
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. Lawry's seasoning salt
1/4 tsp. oregano
Dash of onion flakes
1/8 tsp. red pepper
1/8 tsp. parsley flakes
1/8 tsp. celery powder
1/4 tsp. chili powder
Dash of paprika
1/4 c. olive oil
2 bay leaves
4 c. rice, egg noodles, or macaroni, cooked and drained
Preparation

In a large stir fry pan, brown beef in olive oil on high heat.
Add spices except celery powder.
Cook for 1 minute.
Add 1 can tomato sauce, mushrooms, water chestnuts, celery powder, more black pepper and chili powder to taste and cook for 5 minutes on medium temperature.
Add second can of tomato sauce and cook for 10 more minutes on low temperature.
Simmer until ready to serve over rice or noodles.
Serve 4 to 6 hearty appetites.
