Cranberry Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    3/4 c. orange juice
    1 Tbsp. orange peel
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1 egg, well beaten
    1 1/2 c. cranberries
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Mix together
    flour,
    sugar,
    baking
    powder,
    salt and baking soda.
    Stir
    in
    orange
    juice, orange peel, shortening and egg. Mix
    well.\tStir
    in
    cranberries
    and nuts.
    Grease bottom only of 9 x 5-inch pan;\tbake at 350\u00b0 for 55 minutes or until done. Cool on rack 15 minutes.
    Makes one loaf.
