Cowboy Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 1/2 c. flour
2 c. brown sugar
2/3 c. shortening
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
2 well-beaten eggs
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. sour milk or buttermilk

Preparation

Mix together:
flour, brown sugar, shortening and salt, forming a crumbly meal.
Set aside 1/2 cup of this.
