Gingerbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening, melted
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. molasses
    1/2 c. sour milk
    1 egg
    1 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Cream together shortening and sugar; add molasses and mix well.
    Add sour milk and mix well; add egg and mix well.
    Sift together flour, soda, nutmeg, ginger and cinnamon.
    Add to shortening and sugar mixture; blend well.
    Pour into 8 x 8-inch baking pan.
    Bake until done, approximately 20 to 30 minutes.
    If desired, may be topped with Dream Whip (prepared according to package) before serving.
