Brandied Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 lb.) chicken, cut up
    1/2 stick butter or margarine
    1 Tbsp. A.1. steak sauce
    1/4 c. lemon juice
    1/4 c. brandy
    1/4 c. brown sugar, packed
    1 (1 lb.) can dark pitted cherries
    8 or more canned apricot halves
Preparation
    Brown chicken in butter and steak sauce.
    Mix remaining ingredients (except fruits).
    Pour over chicken; simmer 30 minutes.
    Arrange in greased casserole with fruits.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 45 minutes until well browned and glazed.
    Serves 4.
