Peanut Butter Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. peanut butter
    1/2 c. light brown sugar
    1/2 c. granulated sugar
    1 egg, beaten
    1/4 c. milk
    1 c. rolled oats
    1 3/4 c. sifted flour
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream shortening and peanut butter together.
    Mix brown and white sugar and add to shortening gradually, creaming until light and fluffy.
    Combine egg and milk and add to mixture.
    Fold in rolled oats.
    Add sifted dry ingredients and drop by teaspoonfuls on greased baking sheet.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 about 12 to 15 minutes.
