Strawberry Refrigerator Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. vanilla wafers
    1/2 lb. margarine
    1 1/2 c. confectioners sugar
    2 eggs
    1 qt. sliced strawberries
    1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
Preparation
    Crush vanilla wafers finely and place more than half of them in the bottom of a 9 x 12-inch pan.
    Cream butter well and mix with sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time, and beat well.
    Spread this mixture over crumbs and then cover with strawberries.
    Top with Cool Whip and garnish with the remaining vanilla wafer crumbs. Chill in refrigerator overnight.
