Hawaiian Sausage Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (20 oz.) can pineapple chunks
    1 (18 oz.) sweet potatoes, sliced 1-inch thick
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. smoked link sausage, slashed at 1-inch intervals
    3 Tbsp. brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. butter or oleo
Preparation
    Drain pineapple and save juice.
    Add water to juice to make 1 1/2 cups.
    Arrange pineapple, potatoes and sausage in 10 x 6 x 1 3/4-inch pan.
    In small saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch and salt.
    Blend in pineapple juice.
    Cook until thick and bubbly. Remove from heat; stir in butter.
    Pour over casserole.
    Cover and bake for 35 to 40 minutes.
    Makes 4 to 6 servings.
