Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. yellow squash
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 medium onion, chopped fine
    3 Tbsp. butter
    buttered bread crumbs
    salt and pepper
    3/4 c. grated cheese (optional)
    crumbled crisp bacon (optional)
Preparation
    Cook squash.
    Pour off liquid and mash with back of a fork. Saute onion in butter.
    Combine squash, onion, eggs, salt and pepper.
    Sprinkle with buttered bread crumbs. Bake uncovered 30 minutes at 375\u00b0.
    Use a small casserole or a small black spider pan.
