Egg Custard Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 eggs, slightly beaten
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. milk, scalded
Preparation

Mix eggs, sugar, salt and vanilla.
Slowly stir in hot milk. At once, pour in unbaked pie shell.
Dash top with nutmeg.
Bake at 475\u00b0 for 5 minutes; 425\u00b0 for 10 minutes longer.
Serve chilled.
