Meat Smoke Seasoning - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. sugar
1 1/4 c. salt
1 c. coarsely ground black pepper
1/4 c. chili powder
1/8 c. garlic powder
1/8 c. ground cumin
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
Preparation

Mix all ingredients thoroughly and store in airtight container. Rub a small amount of mixture over entire outer surface of brisket, turkey, etc., before smoking in standard or water smoker.
One tablespoon is plenty for average size Thanksgiving turkey.
Makes about 1 pound of seasoning.
