Gumdrop Cake - cooking recipe

1/2 c. Crisco
2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. unsweetened applesauce
1/3 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. nuts
1 c. gumdrops (spiced)
1 c. raisins
2 tsp. soda
1/2 c. boiling water
2 1/2 c. flour

Preparation

Mix egg, shortening, sugar, applesauce, salt and spices.
