Hot Hominy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 Tbsp. minced garlic
    1 tsp. chili powder
    2 (15 1/2 oz.) cans hominy (with red and green peppers)
    1/4 c. minced dried onion
    1 c. hot picante sauce
    8 slices cheese
Preparation
    On medium heat, put butter and chili powder in iron skillet. Add hominy and onion; cook until dry.
    Add picante sauce and cook 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat and lay cheese slices over the top.
    When cheese is melted, stir into hominy.
