John'S Play Dough - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. flour
1 c. water
1 Tbsp. cooking oil
1/2 c. salt
2 tsp. cream of tartar
6 to 8 drops favorite food coloring

Preparation

Mix all ingredients well and cook over low heat until dough pulls away from pan.
Knead with hands until playdough is smooth in texture.
Store in tightly closed containers in a cool, dark place.
