Gingerbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs
    1 c. molasses
    1 c. oil
    1 tsp. each: powdered cloves, ginger and cinnamon
    2 level tsp. soda
    1/8 c. hot water
    2 c. flour
    1 c. boiling water
    mound of unsweetened whipped cream
Preparation
    Place first 4 ingredients in a large bowl and beat well. Dissolve soda in hot water and add to beaten mixture.
    Sift in flour.
    Beat well.
    Add boiling water and beat lightly and quickly.
    Pour in pans and bake 45 minutes in a moderate oven (350\u00b0).
    Cut in squares and top with a generous mound of unsweetened whipped cream.
