Big Mama'S Buttermilk Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. Crisco
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    3 1/2 c. plain flour
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla or lemon flavoring
Preparation
    Mix Crisco, sugar and eggs together until creamy.
    Add flour and soda, which has been dissolved in 2 tablespoons of water, with buttermilk and flavoring; beat well.
    Pour in well greased and floured Bundt pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes.
