Whole Wheat Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. powdered milk
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    3 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. shortening
    2 c. warm water
    6 tsp. dry yeast
    1/4 c. warm water
    1 tsp. sugar
    4 1/2 c. flour (white)
    1/3 c. sorghum or molasses
    3 c. coarse whole wheat flour
Preparation
    Mix the yeast with the warm water and a teaspoon sugar.
    Allow the yeast to dissolve; set aside for 5 to 10 minutes.
    In large mixing bowl, mix the first 5 ingredients.
    Add the yeast mixture; mix well.
    Add sorghum; blend in.
    Stir in flour to make a stiff dough.
    Let rise until double its bulk.
    Make into 2 loaves; place in greased loaf pans.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
