Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3/4 c. shortening
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 egg, lightly beaten
1/4 c. water
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. oats
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1 c. nutmeats (optional)
1 c. chocolate chips (optional)

Preparation

Mix shortening, sugar, brown sugar and egg together.
Add vanilla and dry ingredients.
Bake at 350\u00b0.
