Raisin Drop Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. raisins
    1 c. water
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. butter
    2 c. white sugar
    3 eggs
    4 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cook raisins in 1 cup water for 5 minutes.
    Remove from heat. Cool.
    Add 1 teaspoon soda and 1 teaspoon vanilla.
    Sift flour; mix in other dry ingredients.
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition.
    To this mixture, add raisins alternately with the flour; mix well.
    Drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0.
