Caramel Apple Dip - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
14 oz. caramels
1/4 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
1 Tbsp. milk
1 Tbsp. rum or 1 tsp. rum extract (optional)
fresh apple slices
Preparation

In 2-quart pan, melt caramels and butter over low heat, stirring occasionally until caramels are melted (12 to 15 minutes).
Stir in nuts, milk and rum.
