Copper Pennies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 c. carrots, sliced
1 onion, sliced into rings
2 small bell peppers (optional)
1 can cream of tomato soup
1/2 c. salad oil
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. vinegar
1 tsp. prepared mustard
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. black pepper
Preparation
-
Cook carrots until tender.
Drain and cool.
Add onion rings and peppers.
Mix other ingredients together and pour over the carrots.
Let set 12 hours.
Keeps well.
It may be kept in the refrigerator as long as 2 weeks.
