Biscuits For Two - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cup all purpose flour
    2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
    1 teaspoon sugar
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/8 teaspoon cream of tartar
    1/4 cup shortening
    1/2 cup milk
Preparation
    Combine dry ingredients.
    Cut in shortening until coarse crumbs.
    Stir in milk.
    Turn on to floured board and knead 1 minute.
    Pat it or roll it into 1 inch thickness.
    Cut with floured biscuit cutter.
    Put on greased baking sheet.
    Bake at 450 degrees, 10-12 minutes.
    Makes 4 biscuits.
