Mom'S Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 eggs, beaten well
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1 qt. milk
    1 can Eagle Brand milk
    1 can water
    2 tsp. vanilla
    peaches, bananas or strawberries
Preparation
    Beat eggs.
    Mix sugar and flour; add to eggs.
    Add 1 quart milk.
    Cook over medium heat, stirring continuously.
    When mixture coats spoon, remove from heat.
    Add mixed Eagle Brand milk and water; add 2 teaspoons vanilla.
    Strain and chill overnight.
    Use peaches, strawberries or bananas (your choice).
    Blend each; add to custard mixture and put in freezer.
    Using electric churn or freezer, churn until frozen, 15 to 20 minutes.
    Use ice and ice cream salt generously.
