Pat'S Quickie Patties - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. lean ground beef
    3 (14 1/2 oz.) cans stewed tomatoes
    1 (4 oz.) can diced green chilies (optional)
    sliced American cheese
Preparation
    Shape meat into small patties, adding a few green chilies to each.
    Cook to medium done in a large frying pan coated with a smidgen of oil.
    Add stewed tomatoes and heat.
    Put a slice of cheese on each patty and cover so the cheese melts a little.
