Deep South Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine
    3 c. sugar
    1/2 c. cooking oil
    5 large eggs
    juice and grated rind of 1 lemon
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
    3 2/3 c. cake flour
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar; add oil 2 tablespoons at a time.
    Add eggs one at a time beating slightly after each addition.
    Add lemon juice, rind and salt.
    Add the milk and flour alternately, ending with flour.
    Pour into a greased tube pan with bottom lined with greased waxed paper.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 25 minutes. Remove from pan and cool on cake rack.
